1. Consent to Participate

I voluntarily agree to participate in Desi Talent Quest (the “Event”), including auditions, rehearsals, promotional activities, live performances, recordings, interviews, photography sessions, and related activities conducted by Desi Talent Quest and its organisers.

2. Grant of Rights

I hereby grant Desi Talent Quest, its organisers, affiliates, sponsors, partners, media representatives, successors, and licensees the irrevocable right to:

• Photograph, film, record, livestream, and otherwise capture my appearance, voice, name, likeness, image, biography, performance, and participation;
• Edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, broadcast, display, advertise, promote, and exploit such materials worldwide;
• Use the materials in all formats and media now known or later developed, including websites, social media, television, streaming platforms, print media, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials.

This permission is granted without further approval or compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Ownership

I acknowledge that all recordings, photographs, videos, promotional materials, and related intellectual property created during the Event shall remain the sole property of Desi Talent Quest.

4. No Compensation

I understand that participation in the Event does not guarantee payment, prizes, sponsorship, employment, publicity opportunities, or future engagements unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Participant Conduct

I agree to:

• Behave respectfully and professionally;
• Follow all rules, instructions, schedules, and safety requirements;
• Avoid offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate conduct.

Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant for misconduct.

6. Health & Safety

I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

I release Desi Talent Quest, organisers, venues, sponsors, staff, contractors, and affiliates from liability for injury, loss, damage, or claims arising from my participation, except where caused by negligence under applicable Australian law.

7. Parent / Guardian Consent (under 18)

If the participant is under 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian must consent to the participant’s participation under the terms of this Agreement and complete the parent / guardian section below.

8. Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this Release Form;
• I voluntarily agree to all terms;
• I am legally able to enter into this agreement.

This Non-Disclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between Desi Talent Quest (the “Organiser”) and the participant (the “Recipient”) identified in the registration form.

1. Purpose

The Recipient may receive confidential or non-public information relating to Desi Talent Quest, including but not limited to:

• Contestant information;
• Judging processes and scores;
• Event operations and schedules;
• Sponsorship or partnership discussions;
• Marketing plans;
• Financial information;
• Internal communications;
• Audio / video content before public release.

2. Confidential Information

The Recipient agrees that all confidential information shared verbally, electronically, visually, or in writing shall remain confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent from Desi Talent Quest.

3. Obligations

• Keep all confidential information secure;
• Use confidential information solely for authorised Event purposes;
• Not copy, distribute, publish, leak, or share confidential materials;
• Not post confidential information on social media or public forums.

4. Exceptions

This Agreement does not apply to information that:

• Is already publicly available;
• Was lawfully known prior to disclosure;
• Is required to be disclosed by law or court order.

5. Media & Results Confidentiality

Contestants, judges, crew, and staff must not publicly disclose:

• Competition outcomes before official announcement;
• Behind-the-scenes footage or internal discussions;
• Judge deliberations or scoring details.

6. Return of Materials

Upon request, the Recipient must return or permanently delete all confidential materials belonging to Desi Talent Quest.

7. Breach

Any unauthorised disclosure may result in:

• Immediate disqualification or removal;
• Termination of involvement;
• Legal action for damages or injunctive relief where applicable.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

9. Agreement

I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Agreement and agree to comply with its terms.

This Photography & Social Media Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all contestants, parents / guardians, judges, performers, crew members, volunteers, sponsors, media representatives, and attendees participating in or attending Desi Talent Quest (the “Event”).

1. Purpose

• Protect the privacy and safety of participants;
• Maintain a respectful and professional environment;
• Ensure appropriate use of photography, video, livestreaming, and social media content;
• Protect confidential event information and intellectual property.

2. Event Photography & Videography Consent

By attending or participating, you acknowledge that authorised photographers, videographers, media personnel, and organisers may capture photographs, video and audio recordings, livestream footage, behind-the-scenes content and promotional interviews. These materials may be used by Desi Talent Quest for marketing, social media, website and digital content, press, sponsorship presentations, and television or streaming distribution. No additional approval or compensation is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Participant Social Media Conduct

All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, X (Twitter), Threads, and other platforms. Participants must NOT:

• Post offensive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or inappropriate content;
• Harass or bully other contestants, judges, organisers, or attendees;
• Share confidential event information;
• Leak results, scoring, backstage footage, or private communications;
• Misrepresent Desi Talent Quest or its organisers;
• Use the Event brand or logo without permission for commercial purposes.

4. Confidentiality of Competition Results

Contestants, judges, crew, volunteers, and staff must not publicly disclose competition results before official announcement, judge deliberations, internal schedules, or unreleased photos and videos. Unauthorised disclosure may result in disqualification, removal, suspension, or legal action where applicable.

5. Personal Recording Restrictions

Unless expressly authorised, professional cameras, drones, or recording equipment may not be used; full performance recordings may not be uploaded publicly; livestreaming backstage or restricted areas is prohibited. Audience members may take casual personal photos / videos provided they do not obstruct performers, interfere with production, or violate privacy or safety requirements.

6. Child Protection & Under-18 Participants

Special care will be taken regarding participants under 18 years of age. Parents / guardians acknowledge that event photography and videography may include minors and may appear on official Event platforms. Organisers will use reasonable efforts to ensure content remains appropriate and respectful.

7. Intellectual Property

All official Event recordings, photographs, branding, graphics, promotional materials, and production content remain the exclusive property of Desi Talent Quest unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorised commercial use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

8. Reporting Concerns

Any concerns regarding inappropriate social media conduct, harassment or bullying, unauthorised recordings, or privacy / child safety matters should be reported immediately to Event organisers.

9. Policy Enforcement

Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to request removal of inappropriate online content, restrict media access, remove participants or attendees for policy breaches, and take disciplinary or legal action where necessary.

10. Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Photography & Social Media Policy.

1. Commitment to Child Safety

Desi Talent Quest is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all children and young participants involved in the Event. The organisation has zero tolerance for child abuse, harassment, bullying, grooming behaviour, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct involving minors.

2. Compliance with Australian Child Protection Laws

Desi Talent Quest will comply with applicable child protection legislation in Australia, including relevant laws and regulations in New South Wales relating to child safety obligations, mandatory reporting requirements, Working With Children Checks (WWCC), and safe supervision practices.

3. Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Any individual engaged in child-related roles or activities during the Event may be required to hold a valid Working With Children Check clearance where required by law. This may include judges, chaperones, volunteers, event coordinators, backstage crew, photographers / videographers, and trainers or mentors. Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to request proof of WWCC clearance at any time.

4. Supervision of Minors

Participants under the age of 18 must have parent / guardian consent to participate, provide emergency contact details, and be appropriately supervised during Event activities. Parents / guardians remain responsible for minors outside officially supervised Event areas and times.

5. Appropriate Conduct Around Minors

All adults involved with the Event must maintain professional boundaries with minors, avoid inappropriate physical contact, avoid private or isolated one-on-one interactions unless authorised and necessary, and use respectful and age-appropriate language and behaviour. Any inappropriate conduct or suspected breach must be reported immediately to Event organisers.

6. Photography & Media Involving Minors

Photography, videography, and media involving participants under 18 will be handled responsibly and respectfully. Desi Talent Quest will take reasonable steps to avoid inappropriate or exploitative imagery, protect children’s privacy where appropriate, and ensure media content remains suitable for public viewing. Parent / guardian consent is required for participation involving media capture and promotional use.

7. Reporting Concerns

Any person who witnesses inappropriate conduct involving a child, receives a disclosure from a child, or has concerns regarding child safety, must immediately report the matter to Event organisers or relevant authorities where required by law. Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to remove any individual from the Event pending investigation of child safety concerns.

8. Acknowledgement

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the Child Safety & Working With Children requirements of Desi Talent Quest.

The purpose of this Performer Code of Conduct (the “Code”) is to ensure that all participants in Desi Talent Quest maintain a respectful, safe, inclusive, and professional environment throughout the competition and related activities. This Code applies to all contestants, performers, finalists, guest performers, and participating talent.

1. Professional Behaviour

All performers are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow contestants, judges, organisers, volunteers, sponsors, crew members, and audience members; follow all Event rules, schedules, directions, and safety requirements; act professionally during rehearsals, performances, interviews, media appearances, and online interactions; and promote a positive and inclusive environment.

2. Respectful Conduct

Performers must NOT engage in bullying, harassment, intimidation, threats, or abusive behaviour; use discriminatory, racist, sexist, hateful, or offensive language or conduct; damage Event property or venue facilities; disrupt rehearsals, performances, judging, or production activities; or engage in physical altercations or unsafe behaviour.

3. Social Media & Public Conduct

Performers are representatives of Desi Talent Quest and are expected to behave responsibly online and in public. Participants must NOT post confidential Event information, share unreleased results or backstage content without approval, publish defamatory or inappropriate comments about the Event or participants, or use the Event name, logo, or branding in a misleading or unauthorised manner.

4. Attendance & Punctuality

Performers are responsible for arriving on time for rehearsals, briefings, performances, and scheduled activities; informing organisers promptly of unavoidable absences or delays; and being adequately prepared for performances. Repeated lateness or non-attendance may result in penalties or disqualification.

5. Performance Standards

All performances must be appropriate for a public audience. Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to prohibit performances, costumes, language, gestures, music, or content considered offensive, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, dangerous, illegal, or inconsistent with Event values or audience suitability. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any music, backing tracks, or creative material submitted.

6. Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs or prohibited substances during Event activities is strictly prohibited. Performers must not attend rehearsals or performances while impaired, consume alcohol in restricted areas, or smoke / vape in prohibited areas or around minors. Any breach may result in immediate removal from the Event.

7. Child Safety Compliance

All performers must comply with Desi Talent Quest child safety policies and maintain appropriate conduct around minors at all times. Any inappropriate behaviour involving minors will be treated seriously and may be referred to relevant authorities.

8. Media & Confidentiality

Participants must respect media restrictions and confidentiality obligations, avoid sharing internal communications, judging details, or private production matters, and follow organiser instructions regarding photography, recording, interviews, and media appearances.

9. Health & Safety

Performers must follow venue and safety instructions, avoid behaviour that may endanger themselves or others, and immediately report hazards, injuries, or safety concerns to organisers. Participation in dangerous stunts or unsafe acts without prior written approval is prohibited.

10. Breaches of the Code

Desi Talent Quest reserves the right to take disciplinary action for breaches of this Code, including warnings, performance restrictions, removal from activities, disqualification, removal from the venue or Event, or legal action where appropriate. Serious misconduct may result in immediate dismissal from the competition without refund or compensation.

11. Acknowledgement

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Performer Code of Conduct, agree to comply with all Event rules and behavioural expectations, and understand that breaches may result in disciplinary action or removal from the Event.
